Do you currently have a UK provisional driving licence? Yes No
You need to have, in your possession, a valid UK provisional licence before lessons can begin.
Have you passed your theory test? Yes No
Go down to your local bookstore and purchase The Official Highway Code and a theory test questions book. It would also be advisable to purchase a DVD-ROM which will help you with the Hazard Perception part of the test.Don't get a dated second-hand book from a friend, as these books tend to be re-published annually and you will find that there may be a lot of questions missing.Once you have studied the theory book and The Highway Code and you are answering around 90% of the questions accurately, you are probably ready to book your theory test. This can be done by telephoning 0870 0101 372, or online at the DSA website.You will be required to quote your driving licence number to book the theory test. The nearest theory test centres are Slough and Uxbridge.Please note it is not a requirement for you to have passed a theory test to start driving lessons.
